Animation and links to my films

Flowers for Stephen:

High Level

Making my short High Level required hiding in a bunker for least 500 full working days. The technique is traditional animation on paper.

Meet Mr. Gregory Russell! :-)

A couple of the first sketches of Gregory.

Pictures of my light box. I love inbetween animating.

These are finished stills from High Level.
.
You can see High Level that is almost finished on Vimeo.

A Douglas Adams animation

I also took part in international Douglas Adams animation competition in spring 2012. I got the people's choice prize with this very short short: The character above is Liisa Lievestuore from the film.

Something experimental

Moral stealing and charity is a very old experimental animation I did with coal. Me and my sister did the voices together. :-)

At Eksjö Animation studio in Sweden

I was one of the animators in this film. I worked a lot on Jao who was also my favorite character. Funnily enough our film was well recognized by tabloids when coming out! :-)

THE BROWN BEAR

THROUGH THE TIME

These are still from my newest and most important project at the moment.  I love bears and want to draw a lot of them during the next year or two. I will be updating about the progress.

So! ...close to the bottom of this link...

One of the best finnish actors kindly gave his voice to my bear who plays the key role in in my animation.

Some character design

The bear's bride

Important men with minor roles in my bear film.
They are Elias Lönnrot, Edward Toppsell and Olaus Magnus.

A Snow bear landscape

So this is where they started to fight against the bear cult and almost succesfully drove the brown bear into extinction in Europe.
